SPECIAL SOLUTIONS OCTOPUS: CREATING PALLETS OF BOXES AND TIN CANS
In this video you can see in action one of the custom Octopus solutions designed by Vuototecnica for a palletizer robot handling tomato cans and boxes.
A simple, lightweight and super flexible gripping hand, made up of two special bars designed specifically for the customer, who needed to manipulate tomato cans of different diameters and weights and packaging cardboard boxes.
As usual, the thing that is most astonishing is the operational flexibility of this system, able to take objects of different shape and dimension, and of different materials, even when the gripping surface of the objects to be handled occupies only 5% of the Octopus plate.

AS EASY AS DRINKING A CAN OF SODA
Have you ever wondered how the cans from which you drink your favorite drinks are being processed? Or are you a manufacturer and are looking for a method to improve the production and packaging phases?
The shape of the cans certainly does not help the handling operations, nor during the initial production stages, neither during filling and packing in pallets.
For this particular problem, Vuototecnica developed a suction cup ideal for taking flat, smooth or slightly rough objects with cylindrical or curved shape, such as cans.

In this video you can see Vuototecnica selfclosing valves handling glass panels of different shape and size.
Vuototecnica self-closing valves have been successfully employed on manipulators for the withdrawal of sheets, marble slabs, wood panels and, in general, in all cases where there is a need of the operational flexibility of the gripping system, with products that are present in the picking area with varying shapes and sizes (note how many different plates the robot can handle, in the video!).

Every year, it is good remake skis insoles and blades for safety and for the pleasure of skiing in a simpler way.
